Growing avocado

Have you ever tried to grow an avocado tree on your own window? My attempt was successful. All you need is an avocado stone, any small can or jar (glass or plastic), 2 toothpicks, water and a little patience! 
Fit toothpicks to the jar, place the stone on them. The end of the stone should be dipped into the water.

Wait for several weeks until the root appears. Then carefully plant the stone in a pot with soil, half of the stone should remain out.

 Steam and leaves will grow fast so prepare a large pot! )
